From
the island of Maratua, the tour continues to Sangalaki Island. The journey
using a speedboat takes about 50 minutes. Sangalaki Island itself is an island
that has status as a turtle conservation area in Derawan islands. The trip to
the island of Sangalaki a bit choked up when the sea water is receding, so the
speedboat have to wait for the sea water to speedboat to get right to the
island Sangalaki. While waiting for the tide, we can enjoy the white sand
scenery submerged by sea water. If you do not want to wait, you can walk to
Sangalaki Island from where the speedboat ran aground, about 10 minutes on
foot.

Island is a natural island that is intentionally not inhabited by humans. This
place was crowned as the main place of laying green turtle eggs in Southeast
Asia region. Here, there are many holes laying for green turtles. From one
turtle nest hole, it produced approximately one hundred turtle children. This
turtle child must be rescued by conservation officers not to be eaten by predators
such as lizards, seabirds, and marine animals that are commonly found around
this area. In addition, humans are the greatest threat to the survival of these
turtles. The turtles will be treated for several days before they will be
released into the sea.

From
the island of Sangalaki, the journey continues towards Derawan island.
Traveling by speedboat takes about 20 minutes. In Derawan Island, there are
cottages or villas that can be used as a place to stay. The villa has a view
directly facing the sea, so it is suitable for those of you who want to feel
the natural atmosphere or calm down by hearing the sound of waves. Try to enjoy
the joyful adventure travel in Derawan island.
In
the morning, you can relax for a while by the beach while looking at the white
sand and clear blue sea water. In Derawan Island also provided the center of
diving facilities. This is of course more value that attracts foreign tourists.
Before
doing the dives, we can for a moment walking around the island to enjoy its

sea. Among these coral rocks, there are meat-eating sea eels seeding hiding

adult sea turtles that swim around the coral reefs. Adult sea turtles are rare
animals that are protected because they are threatened with extinction. Of a
hundred turtle or turtle eggs, only one survives to adulthood. Therefore, being
able to watch adult sea turtles swimming freely in the oceans is a rare reserve
to be grateful for.
From
the island of Derawan, our adventure continues towards Talisayan village located
in the village of Pidu-pidu, Berau District, East Kalimantan Province. This
village began to be famous for the whale shark (Whale shark). The journey from
Derawan Island to Tanjung Batu can be reached for thirty minutes by speedboat.
From Tanjung Batu to Talisayan Village can be reached by road trip by car for
eight hours. Travel overland takes a long time due to the road conditions are
not so good.
The
journey to the sea to see the whale shark is done by renting a boat that is
prepared by the locals. The emergence of whale sharks in this place due to the
place of fishing in the sea called the chart. Fisherman who was fishing in
Bagan often provide food, namely small fish that are favored by whale sharks
that are passing. As a result, eventually the whale shark is then often swim

you have more courage, you can swim around this friendly whale shark. We should
be a little cautious when swimming beside the whale sharks. Although it is a
benign animal, swishing the whale's tail whales when swimming can cause serious
injury to us. Keep a safe distance of about three to four meters while swimming
beside the whale shark.

you decide not to swim with whale sharks, you can feed these whale sharks directly.
This whale shark is guaranteed to come directly to you. There are about five
whale shark whales sharks around this fishing spot.
After
we finish feeding the whale sharks, we head back to Talisayan village. From
this village, road journey continues to Labuan Cermin which takes about one
hour drive. In Labuan Mirror, there is a lake of Labuan Cermin that has a
designer gan clear. Labuan Cermin Lake is located in the village of Labuan
Kelambu, District idup-idup, East Kalimantan.

enter the Labuan Cermin Lake, we are required to pay entrance fee, which also
includes the cost of renting a wooden boat. Labuan Lake This mirror lies
somewhat hidden, covered by the lush trees growing in the water and the sounds
of the animals that live around it. You can snorkel here because the lake is
famous for its very clear water, until the underwater scenery can be seen
clearly using the naked eye. We can also see a fine line between sea water and
fresh water meet. The animals that live in the Labuan Cermin Lake can be separated
into two types, freshwater animals that live on the surface of the lake, and
marine animals that live at the bottom of the lake. Do not forget to take
